Come celebrate the extraordinary women of New Mexico with the YMCA at the National Hispanic Cultural Center April 3rd from 6-9 pm.
This year’s honoree, Claudina Medina (see photo above), has founded Enlace Comunitario, El Centro de Igualdad y Derechos, Mujeres en Accion, and Plaza de Encuentro, a newly formed immigrant center that provides education and civic engagement. Guests will enjoy fabulous heavy hors d’oeuvres, cash bars, desserts and coffee while enjoying the opportunity to network with the community’s Who’s Who.
The event will include a keynote speech by Lorna M. Wiggins, President of the law firm of Wiggins, Williams & Wiggins, as well as a silent auction to benefit the YMCA’s many programs and services for women and girls.
