Española Community Conversation – November 19th

You are invited to join NewMexicoWomen.Org, in collaboration with the Northern New Mexico College Office of Equity and Diversity, for a Community Conversation around issues facing women and girls in your community. Your voices, insights and experiences are essential for helping us to build a broader movement of support for women and girls in the state. Please join us on November 19th, 2014 from 4 – 6 pm in the Fine Arts Building, Small Theater at Northern New Mexico College, 921 N Paseo De Onate, Española, NM 87532.

The purpose of the Community Conversation is to:

Share and discuss highlights from the recently published NewMexicoWomen.Org Indicators Report;
Learn more about the current issues facing women and girls in your region and how are local groups and leaders successfully addressing them;
Deepen our understanding of the needs of women and girls in your community and how NewMexicoWomen.Org might support the groups who are addressing those needs.

If you would like to have a look through the Indicators Report prior to the conversation, click here to download it.

Refreshments will be served to keep our energy flowing. Feel free to share the invitation with relevant community members! RSVP to NewMexicoWomen.Org Program Coordinator, Fatima van Hattum at fvanhattum@nmcf.org or call 505-820-6860 Ext. 32 with any questions.

We hope to hear from you!
