Legacy Giving
Ways to Give
Would you like your legacy to be part of a vibrant and resilient ecosystem for self-identifying women, girls, and gender expansive communities in New Mexico? Become a member of NewMexicoWomen.Org’s Legacy Giving Circle! Your planned gift can nourish our dreams.
Ways you can leave a legacy of gender justice and healing in New Mexico:
- Make a bequest to NMW.O through your will or living trust.
- Transfer real estate or donate other appreciated assets to NMW.O.
- Name NMW.O as a beneficiary of your Donor Advised Fund.
- Designate NMW.O as a beneficiary of your charitable trust, IRA, or life insurance policy.
- If you are over 70.5, make a qualified charitable distribution, which is an otherwise taxable distribution from an IRA that can satisfy part or all of your required minimum distribution.
“Dreaming after all, is a form of planning.”
“Nature teaches us that
our work has to be
nuanced and steadfast.
And more than anything,
that we need each other—
at our highest natural glory
—in order to get free.”
Benefits of Giving
- Reduce income taxes and capital gains taxes.
- Have agency over your money and ensure the future health of an organization you care about.
- Contribute to a future for New Mexicans that aligns with your values.
- When you make a gift or pledge from your estate to NMW.O, you are welcomed into our Legacy Giving Circle – a place where thoughtful people like you are celebrated and connected to a broader movement for gender justice and healing.
“A bequest to you is a gift to me. It’s a privilege that one of my final acts is honoring my mother, her name, legacy, and spirit. And through your programs and services, providing a meaningful and lasting way for carrying her spirit forward for New Mexico women and girls into lives of possibility with opportunity: centered, real, and able to be lived.”
