NewMexicoWomen.Org, is pleased to announce our second year of funding
for organizations serving adolescent girls of color across New Mexico.
Historically and currently, adolescent girls of color face more barriers when it comes to leadership opportunities that lead to healthy and thriving lives. Concerted and intentional investment in programs that center the experiences of, and create spaces for girls of color to connect, build power, and engage in healing, is crucial in these times. Our Adolescent Girls of Color grants are directed to organizations specifically working with and for girls of color. These organizations support and cultivate the well-being and leadership of young women of color as change agents, particularly in low-income, immigrant and rural communities across New Mexico.
